A Filipino and his five-year-old child were among those harmed in the militant psychological assault in Barcelona, Spain, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) affirmed yesterday.
The DFA did not discharge the names of the casualties but rather said the privileged Philippine representative went to the healing center to beware of their condition.
In a TV talk with, Philippine exempt emissary general in Barcelona Jordi Puig Roches said the casualties were harmed when a van pushed through walkers in Las Ramblas area late Thursday evening.
Roches said the father endured minor wounds while the kid was genuinely harmed and needs surgery.
The father, child, mother and another kid were going to the prevalent traveler spot in Barcelona at the season of the episode. They are Irish nationals yet hail from Cebu.
Remote Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano communicated sympathies to the Spanish government and censured the psychological oppressor assault in Barcelona that left 14 individuals dead and over a hundred harmed.
“The Philippines criticizes in the most grounded terms this exasperating demonstration of dread executed by radicals against innocent men, ladies, and kids in Barcelona,” Cayetano said in an announcement.
