Meat, eggs, and fish is the main source of protein in our diet, but unfortunately, these foods are taken also of cholesterol and fat that can be harmful to health. Fortunately, there are foods other than meat also rich in protein.

For those who wish to limit the fat and cholesterol in the diet, and those who are “vegetarian” or those who do not eat meat, here are some of the foods that are rich sources of protein.
