Whenever we have parties or occasions, surely most of us wanted to plan the best experience that we can give to our guests and visitors so they will be entertained. We always give our best effort to plan it out, from the food that we will gonna serve to the guests, the venues as well as the decorations, the activities that we are planning to do, and many more. But of course, parties and occasions wouldn't be complete if there is no beverages or alcoholic drinks that will be served.

We usually plan for more drinks to serve because beer, for sure, might not satisfy the visitors and guests. We tend to serve different kinds of alcoholic drinks such as vodka, beer, rum, wine, and chasers. And for those who are really into parties, they were not going to stop drinking unless they are drunk.

But a slight reminder to those people whose face becomes red when they were drinking alcohol that it might be one of the reasons for you to stop drinking alcohol because it might mean a chronic illness. This illness is called an Alcoholic flush reaction. The side effects of it are headache, flushed skin, rapid heartbeat, and nausea. The buildup of acetaldehyde in the body was one of the causes of why an Alcoholic flush reaction occurs.

Acetaldehyde is known for its carcinogen and it also contains a high toxic that can damage one's body. It metabolizes into acetaldehyde once the alcohol hits the liver. Oftentimes, it is immediately transformed into a safer form which is called acetate.

However, those people who are experiencing alcoholic flush reaction has a different case. The alcohol in their body quickly turns into acetaldehyde, however, their liver will have a slower process to convert acetaldehyde into acetate.

Because of this, the side effects will become much harsher because of the acetaldehyde poisoning which resulted in a less intense 'buzz'. And if it continues for a long time, it might cause a higher risk to get throat and mouth c4ncers.

It is said that the alcohol flush reaction is a genetic condition. It is originated in Central China, among the Han Chinese. It also quickly spread in East Asia over the centuries. There are already 1/3 of East Asians are suffering from it.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for this condition because it is genetic. The most important thing to do to avoid such a condition is to avoid or better stop drinking alcoholic drinks.
