It has been reported that some major cities in Australia were raging in fires which caused the delayed flights on Saturday in some cities on the second day of the national state of emergency.

Saffron Howden, who is an Australian reporter, on the other hand, uses a map which shows the fires that are currently enlarging and spreading in the whole continent of Western Australia.

Howden tweeted,

"My god."

Based on the report of the BBC, on Saturday, the fires in the Southeastern state of New South Wales (NSW) in Australia were already in the 'catastrophic' level on Saturday.

NSW Rural Fire Services Inspector Ben Shepherd stated,

"These fires are likely to continue to spread well past Christmas."

Some photos of the fuzzy skies in Australia were shared on social media by some netizens.

One Twitter user remarked,

"Everything is burning."

Meanwhile, Australia was currently experiencing the heatwave for a few days now which caused it to broke records for temperature, based on the report of Common Dreams on Thursday.

Director of the American consultancy firm Navigant Kes van der Leun said,

"I think this is the single loudest alarm bell I've ever heard on global heating."

On Saturday, it is reported that the cool temperatures around the country were already back. However, the wind that was continuously growing was one of the problems now because it causes the fire to grow more and more, according to the report of The Guardian:

"A southerly change swept through at 5pm, making the fire even more erratic and changing the fire direction. Around this time, NSW authorities began warning of a bushfire-generated thunderstorm that had formed over Currowan and Tianjara fires in the Shoalhaven area, on the NSW south coast.
The fire service said this would lead to increasingly dangerous fire conditions. Such storms, known as pyroCB, can produce embers hot enough to spark new fires 30km from the main fire."

However, Prime Minister Scott Morrison was denying that he was currently having a vacation in Hawaii while his country was on raging brushfires. It is said that Morrison went back to Australia on Saturday after the two firefighters died fighting one of the three huge brushfires close to Sydney. The absence of Morrison while the problems were happening in the entire country only makes the citizens in Australia get mad at him.

A certain Twitter user uploaded a photo, featuring the blazes around Sydney, which is captured from above, while Morrison was already arriving in the city, which is reported after an hour of closing the runway.

One Twitter user also posted a map of Sydney, featuring the two routes that can be able to pass by because some road was already closed due to the fires.

NSW Rural Fire Services Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmon said to the reporters,

"Today has been an awful day."

Fitzsimmon also stated that the fires cannot be able to control because it was currently spreading in the entire country and the only hope that they think to stop the raging fires was the rain.

She said,

"We will not get on top of these fires until we get some decent rain—we have said that for weeks and months."

Meanwhile, it was reported by the Australian Bureau of Meterology that there will be no rainfall in the country for the next two months, based on Reuters.
