Vice President Leni Robredo’s daughter Dr. Tricia Robredo called on netizens who are making jokes out of Martial Law abuses to stop.

In a tweet, Tricia reacted to a screenshot of a comment made by someone pretending to be her on New York University’s graduation live stream.

“I’m not sure what bothers me more: being impersonated on the comments section of the live stream of my sister’s graduation or people thinking that this is something to joke about. Hindi nakakatawa at hindi nakakatuwa. Pakiusap – please stop,” Tricia said.

She added that people should not throw jokes about Martial Law atrocities.

“You’re concerned about historical revisionism but you joke about nutribun and red-tagging, as if these are things to be taken lightly. I will never reduce the atrocities of Martial Law for clout and entertainment. Neither should you,” she added.

VP Robredo is currently with her daughters in New York to attend her youngest Jillian’s graduation. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Mathematics and Economics.

VP Robredo said they will be away for a few days “to spend time with family and take a well-deserved rest.”

“This is the first time since my husband died in 2012 that we will be travelling again as a family with no work to take care of. We are sorry if we cannot accept the numerous requests for meet ups. We will do that some other time in the future. For now, we just need to spend as much time together,” she said.

Vice President Leni Robredo is set to fly to New York to attend her youngest daughter Jillian Robredo’s graduation.

“We will be gone for a few days just to spend time with family and take a well-deserved rest before all of us restart the lives we put on hold,” she said in a Facebook post.

VP Robredo added that this is the first time since she lost her husband Jesse Robredo in 2012 that they will be taking a vacation without thinking about work.

“We are sorry if we cannot accept the numerous requests for meet ups. We will do that some other time in the future. For now, we just need to spend as much time together,” she said.

She also apologized for not being able to answer messages and referred urgent concerns to her Chief of Staff Usec Boyet Dy.

Meanwhile, she said her Office of the Vice President (OVP) family is taking care of the preparations in order to ensure the smooth turnover of the office to the next Vice President.

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte kept her lead in the latest Comelec transparency server data.

Meanwhile, VP Robredo assured that she is on top of the preparations for the launch of the non-government organization Angat Buhay.

During her thanksgiving gathering at the Ateneo de Manila University last Friday, VP Robredo reminded her supporters to wipe their tears when they are done crying because they have work to do.

Dahil may trabaho pa tayo,” she said.

Angat Buhay is set to be launched as an NGO on July 1.

“Hindi tayo mamimili ng tutulungan. Wala tayong tatalikuran.

“Meron akong isang approach.

“But for now, unawaan eh,” dagdag pa ng tumatakbong pagkapangulo.

Vilma-Ralph endorsement

And I’m proud of Senator Ralph Recto and Congresswoman Vilma Santos. I’m very proud of them na marunong silang tumanggap ng bisita,” ayon kay Moreno.

“It shows character eh. So I’m really proud of [the] Isko Moreno supporters, mga ordinaryong tao, kasi sila hindi nakikipag away, nakikinig, pero firm sa kanilang paniniwala,” dagdag pa niya.
