Veteran entertainment journalist Lolit Solis admitted she was reduced to tears by the letter she received recently from Kris Aquino.
Kris has revealed a few days ago that her illness had become life threatening but denied rumors she is fighting for her life in an ICU.
In an Instagram post, Lolit said she was moved to tears after reading the part where Kris was begging to live for more years until her youngest, Bimby, is old enough to take care of his Kuya Josh who has autism.
Lolit also admired Kris’ selfless and motherly love for her two sons when the latter said she still wants to live for them despite the pain she’s going through and the criticisms she constantly receive from bashers.
“I was so sad reading her letter dahil talagang ipinagtapat niya iyon pain na nadarama niya.
With this, she urged her followers to be kind to Kris, a single mother, and pray for this currrent difficult journey in her life.
Be kind to her. Love her,” she ended her Instagram post.
In yet another post on Tuesday, the showbiz writer can’t help but praise the ‘Queen of All Media’ for keeping her sufferings to herself and not let others know about it.
Once again, Lolit Solis asked for prayers for Kris and her family because this is what they need most now, especially for Bimby and Joshua.

She also believes the reason why the actress-host decided to forego her plan to fly abroad is because she wouldn’t want to be away from her siblings when the time comes that she would need them.

Senator-elect Robin Padilla refuses to engage his detractors who questioned his capability and criticized him for topping the recent senatorial election.
In his Facebook Live on Saturday, the actor-turned politician thanked his supporters from all over the Philippines and from outside the country for electing him as one of the incoming members of the Upper House.
Among those he expressed gratitude to for supporting his candidacy are celebrity friends such as Toni Gonzaga, Vina Morales, Gabby Concepcion, Piolo Pascual, Boy Abunda, Ogie Diaz, and many others.
He likewise enumerated the provinces where he emerged as the number one senator like Mountain Province, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Pangasinan, as well as other provinces where he ranked between number 2 and number 11.
He also commended the teachers, the PNP personell and all the government employees who rendered their services in the conduct of a peaceful election last May 9.
No time for bashers
As for his critics who have been consistently belittling his capability as an incoming lawmaker on social media, the senator chose to ignore them.
In an early interview, the actor hinted at quitting showbiz to focus on his latest job as a senator.

Padilla said his foremost advocacy in the Senate will be to push for constitutional reforms with keen attention to possible shift of government to parliamentary system.
He also acknowledged that the country is facing more pressing issues and would rather devote his effort on finding solution rather than waste time on addressing his bashers.
Padilla was one of the 12 new senators proclaimed by the Commission on Election (Comelec) last week. He topped the senatorial poll with more than 26 million votes.

Vlogger Toni Fowler recounted the first time she met Toni Gonzaga years back.
In a one-on-one interview on Toni Talks, Fowler shared that she first saw Gonzaga at the backstage of noon-time show It’s Showtime and her first impression of the host was not good.
Gonzaga explained that whenever she is set to perform on stage, she makes sure she is focused and prepared.
Hinahanda ko yung sarili ko bago lumabas,” she said.
Fowler agreed and said that when her social media followers started to grow and she became popular, she started to understand Gonzaga.
Fowler shared there were times when she and daughter Tyronia could not even enjoy their meal when eating outside because fans wanted to take pictures with them.
“Nung medyo nakilala ako, naintindihan ko na,” she said.
Aside from this, Fowler also shared her journey in love, life, and career.
