Scribble is usually defined as “a piece of writing that is done quickly or carelessly”—well, not for this self-taught artist who has been capturing thousands of hearts on social media with her deep, extraordinary scribbled portraits.

On Instagram, Liz Y Ahmet—an expressive portrait artist who has always been fascinated with faces—has been uploading her unique masterpieces, with over 91,000 followers waiting for her new creations.

“Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world,” she shared earlier.

But how does the passionate artist create her well-loved portraits? According to Liz, she prefers to select a photo reference that best conveys her emotion at that time and create a piece spontaneously, with more emphasis on getting the emotive content than focusing on an accurate representation of the face.

“Her style is constantly evolving and has progressively become more self-reflective,” she wrote in the bio of her website. “She prefers to select a photo reference that best conveys her emotion at that time and create a piece spontaneously, with more emphasis on getting the emotive content than focusing on accurate a representation of the face.”.
“The portraits are always female using various mediums, with the faces often portrayed mask-like, the main objective to convey emotion, the mask–the external, a shield presented to the world and the scribbled technique–the chaos of emotions contained within,” she continued.

And for her followers, her amazingly unique style is just perfect.

“I don’t know how you do all of your paintings. Your style is such a ‘wow’ for me and for real, I am truly one of your fans,” social media user @norfahuza said.

“These are amazing! I’m honestly shocked each and every time,” @unwrittenrule.artofficial commented.

“Long Neckie Ladies is a fine art, hand drawn, computer generated collectible of 3,333 diverse and elegant females,” ani Nyla.

“At first I just wanted to put two things that I love together, and that was a Brontosaurus and women,” aniya. “I wanted to show how beautiful and strong women were, and I thought of the brontosaurus as that as well.”

Aniya, “I just thought it would be cool to put my art out there and show people that but to see how people react to it.”

“I need her,” pagbabahagi niya.

While V. Laurence wrote, “OMG, seriously? I’m just starting to create 3D cakes and I can kind of guess how you did it but so many beautiful details, and just wow! Not just talented but also courageous and sooooo creative! I hope you are proud of yourself because you really nailed it!”
