Inusisa ng entertainment reporters si Star Magic Head Direk Lauren Dyogi kaugnay sa kontrobersyal na pahayag ni Liza Soberano sa kaniyang vlog.

Matatandaang sinabi ni Liza na hindi siya nabigyan ng pagkakataong magdesisyon para sa sarili.

“I had always been told what to do, what to wear, what to say and what not to say. I know this was for my own good. It was to protect me and my career, but it was a career that I had no say in. A career that in many ways wasn’t mine. I didn’t even choose the name Liza. It was chosen for me,” sabi niya.

Ani Direk Lauren, iniisip niya na lang kung ano talaga ang nais iparating ni Liza – ang kagustuhang hanapin ang sarili na karapatan naman niyang gawin.

“Iniisip ko na lang kung ano talaga yung gusto niyang sabihin. Minsan kasi it’s just a manner of how you say it. Maybe she meant something else… Kaya lang her being outspoken sometimes, to some people, hindi ‘yun dumadating nang tama,” sabi niya sa panayam na ibinahagi ng PEP sa kanilang YouTube channel.

“But take it as it is, she is just saying that she wants to find her own self and she wants to explore it on her own and we should allow her that because it’s her life.”

Naniniwala rin si Direk Lauren na maraming artista ang nakapag-isip-isip kung ano talaga ang nais nilang gawin dahil sa pandemya.

“I think the pandemic did a lot to our artists, hindi lang naman kay Liza. Ang dami na talagang napapaisip kung ano talaga yung gusto nilang gawin. ’Yung isolation, ‘yung pandemya, ‘yung shutdown ng network, it really forces us to think about the future in our own decision,” dagdag pa niya.

Naisip niya rin daw na maaaring nag-quarter life questioning si Liza na normal namang pinagdadaanan.

“Nangyayari naman sa atin yun e. So we allow her to explore and aspire for something better for herself… Let’s just wish her well because her achievements and accomplishments are also accomplishments for us, especially for those people who helped her in the beginning.”

Inalala ni Michael V. ang ika-14 anibersaryo ng pagpanaw ng Master Rapper na si Francis Magalona o “Kiko.”

Nagbahagi si Bitoy ng throwback picture kasama sina Kiko at singer na si Kitchie Nadal kalakip ang nakaka-touch na kuwento sa likod nito.

Sa hiwalay na post ay nagpasalamat siya sa lahat ng mga nakaalala sa kaniyang asawa.

Ang anak naman nilang si Saab Magalona ay nagbahagi ng mga larawan nang dalawin nila ang puntod ng ama.

Samantala, sinabi naman ni Maxene na araw-araw niyang nami-miss ang ama mula nang mawala ito.

Asia’s Next Top Model Season 5 winner Maureen Wroblewitz opened up on her past relationship; saying that she is still in the process of healing from her trauma.

In a TikTok video, Maureen can be seen jamming to Miley Cyrus’s song “Flowers”; saying that it resonated with her.

“I’ve never really spoken about my past relationship, but this song really speaks to me,” she said in the caption.

“That’s the thing about being in a public relationship, no one really knows what happens behind closed doors.”

She added that she hopes to be able to talk about her experience one day because it might help other people who are going through the same situation.

“I have lost myself over the past few years and I’m finally realizing who I really am. I am working on myself and healing from past trauma because I don’t want to make the same mistakes. Maybe one day I’ll be ready to speak about it because I know it could help a lot of people.”

Maureen and ex-boyfriend Juan Karlos Labajo announced that they have parted ways in June last year.

Maureen shared a quote that reads, “Life is not happening to you. Life is happening for you.”

“Some things come to an end and that’s okay. But now it’s time for us to grow on our own,” she said in the caption.

Juan Karlos replied and said that he is the luckiest person in the world because he got to spend the past years of his life with Maureen.

“You’ve taught me so much and I have learned, I am learning, and I will learn more. We are both so young and we have to enjoy ourselves. I want to see you succeed. I love seeing you achieve your dreams. You will. We will,” he said.
