Luis Manzano, Jessy Mendiola expecting first child

Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola are expecting their first child.

The couple shared this good news to their followers through a YouTube vlog titled “A New Chapter,” which they posted Thursday night.

In the caption, they revealed that they originally planned to hold their church wedding this year, but they decided to hold it off upon learning of the blessing.

“What a pleasant surprise! We had planned for our church wedding this year but suddenly God gave us this wonderful blessing, proving time and again that God is the master planner. No matter what your plans are, HE has a divine plan for you, one that is definitely BETTER than what you have imagined. His plan is always the best,” Jessy and Luis said.

“We decided to share this wonderful news with you through a video shot in one of God’s houses – a beautiful chapel in Benguet. For now, our planned church wedding will have to take a backseat until our bundle of joy arrives.”

They also thanked their supporters for always being there for them, especially now that they received the “best surprise” in their life.

“This is, by far, the best surprise we have received in our lives. Indeed, with God all things are possible… To our supporters, thank you for being with us since day one. Join us as we enter this new journey in our lives as parents. – Jessy & Lucky.”

The video also showed a clip of when the two found out that they are expecting, with Luis kissing Jessy’s belly and showing two positive pregnancy tests.

“I get to be a better person in all aspects because of her influence sa buhay ko and looking down the road, parang ang sarap din makita kung paano siya rin bilang isang mommy,” Luis said in the video.

Luis and Jessy got married in an intimate ceremony in February 2021. By 2023, Mommy Vilma will be a grandmother!
