Inusisa ng entertainment reporters si Star Magic Head Direk Lauren Dyogi kaugnay sa kontrobersyal na pahayag ni Liza Soberano sa kaniyang vlog.

Matatandaang sinabi ni Liza na hindi siya nabigyan ng pagkakataong magdesisyon para sa sarili.

“I had always been told what to do, what to wear, what to say and what not to say. I know this was for my own good. It was to protect me and my career, but it was a career that I had no say in. A career that in many ways wasn’t mine. I didn’t even choose the name Liza. It was chosen for me,” sabi niya.

Ani Direk Lauren, iniisip niya na lang kung ano talaga ang nais iparating ni Liza – ang kagustuhang hanapin ang sarili na karapatan naman niyang gawin.

“Iniisip ko na lang kung ano talaga yung gusto niyang sabihin. Minsan kasi it’s just a manner of how you say it. Maybe she meant something else… Kaya lang her being outspoken sometimes, to some people, hindi ‘yun dumadating nang tama,” sabi niya sa panayam na ibinahagi ng PEP sa kanilang YouTube channel.

“But take it as it is, she is just saying that she wants to find her own self and she wants to explore it on her own and we should allow her that because it’s her life.”

Naniniwala rin si Direk Lauren na maraming artista ang nakapag-isip-isip kung ano talaga ang nais nilang gawin dahil sa pandemya.

“I think the pandemic did a lot to our artists, hindi lang naman kay Liza. Ang dami na talagang napapaisip kung ano talaga yung gusto nilang gawin. ’Yung isolation, ‘yung pandemya, ‘yung shutdown ng network, it really forces us to think about the future in our own decision,” dagdag pa niya.

Naisip niya rin daw na maaaring nag-quarter life questioning si Liza na normal namang pinagdadaanan.

“Nangyayari naman sa atin yun e. So we allow her to explore and aspire for something better for herself… Let’s just wish her well because her achievements and accomplishments are also accomplishments for us, especially for those people who helped her in the beginning.”

Nagbahagi si Bitoy ng throwback picture kasama sina Kiko at singer na si Kitchie Nadal kalakip ang nakaka-touch na kuwento sa likod nito.

Ang anak naman nilang si Saab Magalona ay nagbahagi ng mga larawan nang dalawin nila ang puntod ng ama.

Samantala, sinabi naman ni Maxene na araw-araw niyang nami-miss ang ama mula nang mawala ito.

“We lost you 14 years ago today and we’ve been missing you every day since. My love for you is undying, Pop. Rap in paradise.”

Actress Sunshine Cruz said 2022 is an unforgettable year for her and her daughters because love and forgiveness prevailed after they reunited with Cesar Montano.

“Thank you 2022. 2022 has been memorable not just to me but my three girls too. They now have the piece that has been missing for years and I am genuinely happy for my princesses. They are good girls and they deserve the best in life,” the actress said in an Instagram post.

“Love and forgiveness prevailed in our little family and that’s all that matters.”

She also admitted going through disappointments and heartaches this year, but said that she knows that these helped shape her to become the strong woman that she is today.

Sunshine also said that she is looking forward to an exciting and love-filled 2023 for her and her family.

It can be remembered that netizens expressed their admiration for Sunshine for letting her kids rebuild their relationship with their father, her ex-husband Cesar.

“Who would’ve thought that after almost 10 years mabubuo ulit in one frame! In God’s perfect time talaga. Kahit ano pa ang nangyari noon, one thing na hindi mawawala ay ang pagiging magulang namin sa mga bata. The girls are genuinely happy to have their dad back in their lives,” Sunshine said in an old Instagram post.

Meanwhile, rumors started that Sunshine has broken up with boyfriend Macky Mathay after sharing cryptic posts on Instagram. She has yet to confirm this.
